Charla Szweda is a designer with a degree in Interior Design Technology and over three years of experience in the field. She works closely with Marsha collaborating on client projects. Her work involves everything from drawing elevations and furniture layouts to selecting furniture, fabrics, paint colors, and all the little details. Charla hopes that the spaces she designs are not only beautiful but functional.

Her expertise is in fabrics and soft goods. She once owned a drapery workroom, which has helped her tremendously when selecting fabrics and designing drapery or custom pillows. Style-wise, Charla leans towards New Traditionalism with love for a good plaid.

Growing up in Eastern Canada, Charla learned to speak fluent French. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Biology, she worked in a Biohazard facility growing deadly viruses before having children. These days, she loves to travel and soak up different cultures when not immersed in her true passion – interior design. A lot of inspiration comes from her adventures, and she always comes home with fresh, new ideas.
