Studio M Interior Design was tasked with creating a contemporary office design combining modern space planning, lighting and features mixed with mid-century modern furniture and decor. The result is a modern take on Mad Men and the client, Ameriprise Financial, couldn’t be happier.
Working with a female-owned start up company was an honor. In order to create a low stress environment for financial work we selected a palette that not only reflected the coastal area the office is located in, but would also soothe nerves with a more transitional to modern personal aesthetic. We highlighted several features in the space; A built in fish tank with colorful coral and fish in the waiting area, a fully tiled wall and custom sign from reclaimed wood behind the reception desk, beautiful full height sliding glass doors into a confrence room that boasts a live edge slab conference table and pretty decorative lighting throughout. For her personal office and her assistant she selected walnut furniture with a mid-century vibe, thereby tieing vintage to modern and giving an easy collected look to the interiors.
